We heard last night that our basketing has been postponed until Saturday now, supposedly due to bad weather. We have looked at the forecast for the weekend and can't see any difference between Saturday and Sunday's weather. Ah well, we are not the ones who make the decisions.

We're racing from Ripon Saturday, I've just looked at the weather between here and there Saturday, it looks like a NE wind and plenty of cloud, but no rain as yet.
I've given the hens 1 toss Tuesday and the cocks 1 toss today in the same weather so they should be prepared.

Phil
Maybe, maybe not Phil Smile Smile but all us pigeon flyers I suspect need to take some responsibility etc when we first place them in the basket to race at the loft face Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes & not just place all the ownership on the liberation committee at the race point as such. cheers

Each fancier makes his own decision to race or not. Everyone has access to weather forecasts. Most know what their birds are capable of in good or bad weather. Some send regardless for averages etc,. Or fame, glory or money.

True Hal Smile Smile Self responsibility I call it etc here. Sadly lacking in society today with many I would suggest, when one has to put up with the lame excuses we see in the general court system these days that many use when they do something wrong & are looking for a get out card as such.

I wasn't there to clock in today as I'm a manager of a kids football team and we had a game when they were due.
I checked my ets when I got home and they fell in, first one doing 63mph, I don't know if she trapped, but she got 3rd so I'm well happy.
