Just had a bird return from 3 or 4 races ago, I thought she was a rooky, but when I got closer I saw my phone number ring on her leg.
When I caught her she was covered in stinky oily stuff, her whole body and head was covered.
I bathed her in warm water with washing up liquid in it, and gave her a blow dry with the hair dryer.

Amazing Boosey - just shows how much effort a pigeon can make it home.
