salt and vinegar in the bath water roy, ive always used it in the past and never had a problem with lice etc.......ive not used it for a while tho because ive not raced or had much chance to exercise them, hence fewer baths.

I did however get some sort of nibbling on a couple of this years ybs, and found it was due to some second hand nest boxes I had recently fitted, but as I had a few ybs in the section I couldn't duramytex them out......instead I did the salt and vinegar mix and sprayed these new boxes, and problem solved, not had any nibbling since.

I put cider vinegar in the bath water for our birds, I don't know if that is being extravagant and a few drops of Sarsons would do just as well.

Could be both Lofty Smile Smile I buy pool salt etc $7 a 25kg bag here. Mix & match at times Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes with many of the normal things just to take away the boredom  I suspect Wink Wink. Garlic "strong" & eucalyptus oil, take some beating I've found for lice. cheers
