PostSubject: Sliding Internal Doors...   Wed May 24, 2017 1:53 pm

going to fit some wire doors behind the main sliding doors, so the pigeons can have some sun and fresh air until I get my aviary built.......was going to hinge them but thinking about sliding, using the track and wheel type, has anyone done this or wont they fit/work properly on the inside ...?

yes I have ...as you use deep litter make sure the inside runner on the floor is about 4 inch high this will stop litter clogging the sliding door ...always better to have them sliding instead of hinged

yes Darren, I was planning on hinging them, but thought sliding would be better as it woul take up less room really, instead of the door opening into the loft etc...
