Widowhood hen loft now ready. Empty
PostSubject: Widowhood hen loft now ready.   Widowhood hen loft now ready. EmptyTue Aug 08, 2017 11:36 pm

Have to look a year ahead. Took out nest boxes etc, just left perches. 8 x 8 feet. Pulled up he floor, top layer. It was comprised of sheets of 3/4 ply. 26 x 18 inches, old backboards from pig pens. The livestock underneath was..rather abundant! Between the original floor and the last layer. Mice. Very many of them all ages. Now all in the burn pile. So redid the floor. Used a true and tried disinfectant. Diesel fuel.
Used it back in the UK for chicken coops.
Last weekends race bottom of sheet. Expected. Tomorrow train the remaining un raced young 30 miles. Weekend 155. Then pick and choose for the following weeks. 320 miles I am aiming for later in the program. This club will not fly old birds over 300. So Fed only. Have won at that distance many times before. Going to aim for that one anyway.
