| We are a couple of minutes off the pace every week, and we know the partnership that's doing all the winning are training most days, but listening at the club it sound like they are easing off the training as their birds are " race fit " , so we are thinking if we keep them at it midweek just maybe we can nip in front when the races get a bit longer, that's our theory anyway |

| Ours loft fly for at least an hour every day, weather permitting, I'm hoping that these extra tosses will just give them a bit of an edge and keep their minds on the job in hand, they will go to 20 miles tomorrow and then basket Friday for Saturday, was Sunday but forecast is poor for that day |

As Knackered referred to Roy - could be a lot of things - BUT - to me the reason for training at this time in the y/b season is not to make them any fitter but to get them 'More on Line' to your loft. If your birds are being dragged off line by other birds, then maybe a few Single tosses, might sort that out. Just an idea. Phil |

| Was going to train today. However club is shipping and assume some birds not recovered from Adeno or whatever it was so calling it quits for the year. Have had a few inquiries from leaving the magazines at the feed store. Can winter them all or get rid of 20. Will see what transpires. |
