PostSubject: 100% Ad Schaerlaeckens Young Birds   Thu Aug 31, 2017 5:04 am

I think most, if not all of you guys and ladies will have heard about my terrible dealings with a sticking creature called Jan de Wijs, the owner of Europigeons in the Netherlands and how he diddled me so badly, when I bought some stock birds from him earlier this year.

"Well, let me tell you a little story"

I contacted the Dutch Fraud help desk to report this persons for fraud (I am reluctant to call him a man, because he is just a worm in blokes clothing).  They were very sympathetic, but said they could not give me much help as I did not live in The Netherlands or was not Dutch.  But they told me to contact the Police Headquarters in the area where the 'Worm' lives.

I did this and spoke to a very nice and helpful policeman.  I told him of my problem in great detail and he said he would see what he could do to help me.  As you may know the Dutch all speak fantastic English, so I had no problem being understood.

The policeman also said (and I quote) "I will make sure I cross this man's doorway very soon".

I also contacted the NPO which is the Dutch equivalent of the RPRA to report what one of their members was doing not only to me, but to people all around the world.

The lady I spoke to had not heard of Europigeons but two of her colleagues had and were very concerned about how this person was trading.

So - that is the background to my story - What happened later was a compleat surprise to me.

As you may also know Ad Schaerlaeckens has become a very private person and it is almost impossible to speak, telephone or deal with him unless you know someone that knows him.

I had an email a few weeks ago from someone that said he was the manager of Ad's pigeon business and that he had heard about what had happened to me. He said that if I would like, he could let me have 4 late bred youngsters from Ad's top racers or stock pairs.

I was VERY sceptical at first, after being taken for a ride once - I thought to myself 'NOT again'. But this guy turned out to be genuine and two days ago I received my four 100% Ad Schaerlaeckens young birds. Any WOW! they look amazing and handle really well.

So it looks like things turned out OK in the end. I am going to keep the 4 birds in until we get to England and get them settled to the new loft setup. That is unless you guys have any better ideas!

I will take some pictures and post them soon.

That's it peeps - I hope you enjoyed my ramblings.

Have a great day.

Phil

That's a brilliant outcome Phil, let's just hope that the police can get him sorted as well if only to stop some other poor fancier going the same route as you

That is really why I have gone to all this trouble Lofty - not for me, but for the next poor little bugger that get conned by this arse.

Great to hear you had a happy ending and fair play to Ad for sorting you out. I cant help but think if we didn't pay such silly prices for pigeons we wouldn't have so many ar**holes out there looking to make money off the back of our sport. There are some genuine blokes out there but they do seem to few and far between.
