I used to be a Tutor for a College of Further Education, teaching Information Technology and Graphic Design, and I used to say:-

"You can try and teach them everything you know, but you can't make them learn".

Going back to your last posting from the Canadian Pigeon magazine and the article on 'Culling' - I think some of the points the author was trying to make was 'Think - Investigate - Question and don't follow Blindly, in everything'.

just old sayings doing the rounds again but very true ...but don't be a sheep don't be afraid to try things out of the box its no embarrassment if they don't work a lot of fanciers wont tell you their pitfalls but will have you believe they know everything and have had it off to a T ....we all have knowledge no doubt in our own fields Smile

Phil. Yes. Also in he magazine an article about a guy who flew 2 pigeons a race and won in big competition. Birds from fiends, no big names.
