| a guy who shows horseman has recently started racing.this is his first year and he has won 3 races so far.he won the local fed this weekend. |

| have heard of fancy fanciers doing well when they change to racing pigeons before, maybe its due to the fact they already know how to get them into good health and condition which will help for racing maybe........good luck to him. |

| hi geordiejen, by the look of the velocity of 1404 its seems like it was a fairly fast race to me, could be wrong but the higher the velocity the faster the race i think...... |

| average speed is 40 to 45 mph winning bird did about 50 mph |

| a.f.t 3.54.18 is how long it took to fly the race..........186.1576 is the distance flown in miles/yards.........and the velocity is how fast it flew when the wind/conditions are taken into account. |

| ok mate i got you.i take it if a bird is home first but the second has a longer distance to fly it could win the race is that right? |

| yes thats right geordiejen, just because a bird is clocked first it doesnt mean it wins the race as some birds might fly further........... |
