Loft from a camper.

Here is my latest cheapo project...
Bought this camper for 200$ . It had over 500$ in tools stored in it, basically I got it for free. The canvas shell was in poor condition, so I pre-demolished it by pulling it under one of my spruce trees. I'm going to turn deck into a small loft. It will be small. 11 feet 4 inches long by 6 feet 4 wide. 6 foot three tall. I have enough scrap to build 90% of the loft. Tires are in great shape, and it has built in stabalizers. Hate to waste the frame

What's all that white stuff their Rom     Now, forget the small loft etc just turn it into a training unit there    . Also, is that a aussie bred van there being a Jayco       as if it is     I will tell you a little pigeon story about it as such.

Tearing it all the way down to the black c channel. It has a3/4 inchplywood deck. I will frame it in again

That white stuff is getting old knack. I thought about turning the camper into a training trailer, but I don't want to be tig welding a bunch of aluminum

that was my thoughts when I first saw it rom, a pigeon training trailer ...........charge club members per bird to train them $$$$$$$$$

I bet your pigeons will love it, the weirder the loft the happier they seem to be

OK maybe why not you just cut thou & get some one else there to weld etc Rom. Make it a multi perpose trailer all roll on, roll off. Pigeon loft, pigeon trainer & grain carrier     "Big time".

My first loft? 4 x 2 foot section in the top of the coal house. Row housing. Thrilled by it! One pair in there. At 12 it was exciting!

Memories, memories 4x2 I was big big scale compared to you  Hal  . Mine also was on the top of an old rickety type shed as such. Unfortunately it was built out of scrap & built for a miget type being 6ft long, 4 ft wide & 3ft 6 inches in height . Never quite figured out why I built it that way back then but I suspect I wasn't quite the brightest bunny on the block, so to speak .

My wife is all on board with it being a loft. Her loft to be exact. She wants to use white vinyl siding. (I'm not a fan, but it will only take a few hours to finish )

Good idea knackered. The Mrs knows I would use it for a ATV trailer though

Smart move that wife bit Rom . Forget the white bit thou   go all pink there I suggest & if your looking for any further information on the matter see our beloved Ray here etc .

I can remember the old coal house lofts hal...sttill used by kids in the mid 70s..a bit half mesh door 4 or 6 nest boxes.

Late for school because you couldn't get them in...

very rare I seen a proper pigeon loft when I was a kid, always made from second hand scraps of wood and wire, birds were always healthy though, never remember them being ill, now it seems a constant battle to keep them right

Modern ways David smarter by a country mile we are today etc. But as dumb as horse sh*te also for some strange reason I would suggest, now on average .

Fancy, fancy more for the owner I would suggest Boosey One thing with Rom now, being built on a trailer etc his wife could travel the country side now doing weddings with her white birds for the pleasure factor . Park round the corner to the church as such, basket them & then release for the big occasion & they all then will be home in 5 minutes .

That is the idea anyway save me the hastle. I've got to many projects on the books, no more until a few get the "finished" stamp on em

I should of had the thing stripped down to the floor yestetday. instead I fell asleep in my chair for three hours. feeling guilty as can be this morning. You would think Old teller would keep me awake? Nope.

I'm not as old as he I don't have that much hair either.
