not bad round the bowl fieldy , I do scrape round the bowls when breeding, but not all the time, and not too early.....I don't want to disturb them too much, will clean round this yb maybe around Thursday.

same as handling ybs in the nest, the only time I handle them is to ring them, some are always messing with them, then they wonder why the parents either leave them, or don't feed them properly.

My grandfatha used to breed a few yellows...old vandy lines..hens always baldy no hair when hatched.
Silver hens the same. Y.H in the 70s won 2 beauvais 410m...

fancier near me was selling yellow kirkpatricks a couple of years ago, no idea who he was, or if he raced in a club or not, but I know one of our club members bought some ybs off him, never heard if they were any good tho`.........
