Got 2 new babys hatched out on sunday on saturday afternoon she was off them running round loft thought she had left them but next morning she just lifted up a bit and i saw them got to get some nappys in now and sma milk lol Very Happy Very Happy

ive even wrote down hatch dates and ring numbers this year, and who bred the ybs............. lol! lol!


not sure exactly how many ybs to breed for my team, thinking masybe 24 - 26 ish, any more, ive found in the past, tend to be too much to cope with........ scratch scratch study

i`d like 30mark, but always struggled with more than around 20 ish, getting them in has always been a problem, you get some in the loft and stragglers hang about not wanting to come in, then the others escape again......... Razz Razz lol!

Vaccinate them when you wean them off to their own loft if you have one or 25 days old

Dave do your self a favour and put a sputnik trap on or some other type of trap you'll never look back and its a lot easier

how you going to keep them in on race day after the first few get back? theyl just come back out
a trap or sliding mesh door with bobs at the bottom is better...you might as well whistle'' the grand ol duke of york'' if they can come back out lol!

That's right as kevin said they will come out put a trap on the door or window they will trap faster and if one or two stop out you can open the trap and they will come in when they are ready and you can Carry on doing what ever you need to do I would not be without my Sputniks
