Weather is getting better next week or so. Coyotes are on the move. See their shit when I walk the dogs around the barns quarter mile away. Snow about gone. Which means coons, skunks and other four legged furry critters will be around. Live traps are baited with sardines. Usual scenario this time of year. Usually keep the young in until strong on the wing and better weather. However. May change that. Having too many pigeons, older ones, just may just start letting them out to loft fly. Few days then the young birds. 12 of them. You folks in Europe are lucky weather wise. You can let them fly almost everyday of the year. Old birds I assume will lose a few or a lot. Raptors still around. The remaining one will be either smarter or lucky. After the last few months locked in they may not be as agile as normal. So. Cut down the feed, (Saturday here now 8pm) Monday all being well out they go.
