Read this link. Basically it says a hen inseminated by one cock, the cock removed, the sperm may stay in the hen 14 days and after being bred by another cock, the original cock is the one that may have fertilised the eggs.

makes you wonder 'IF' you could run a STUD cock with several hens for a few says then put it to
a surragate after about 5 days (not the bull system a variation of it tho) study

You know the old saying, you certainly know who your mother is, but father?????.

The best way to ensure parentage is to have separate breeding pens, other wise nothing can be certain.
