I could not have put it better myself.

Having said that, there are so many unbelievers on this forum, that it would take me most of my days I have left, to try and show you guys how wrong you are.

There is LOTS of PROOF out there showing God exists and always has done.  However I could spend some time finding you proof, but you still won't believe, because as Misty said, it is a lot easier for the human being to just carry on the way he wants and, when things go wrong, blame everything and everybody but himself.

When things go wrong and terrible things happen like tsunamis or a 3 year old child being hit by a bus and killed, the first thing that people say is 'if God is a loving caring God then how could He let things like this happen?'  The reason bad things happen in this world is because God is not in charge of this system, but Satan is, and there are Scriptures in the Bible to prove this.

The best that science can come up with is phrases like 'well, therefore we presume...' or 'it is understood to be...' but these phrases are completely meaningless.  However, if people like David Attenborough or Steven Hawkings say something like 'therefore we believe', everybody takes it as the truth.  When actually it is just based on an assumption.

The problem with a lot of non believers is that, if they were shown a number of scriptures from the Bible proving that God existed, and what his Son Jesus Christ went through for mankind, they would just turn round and say 'well that's a load of nonsense, that's just made up, the Bible is just a story'.

Historians and scientists have proven conclusively that Jesus existed.

It's a bit like when I was a full time teacher - I used to say 'I can try and teach my students as much as I know but I cannot make them learn'.

It is up to you guys, salvation is out there, just waiting for you.  All you have to do is receive it.

If I am wrong, and when I die there is absolutely nothing, then I have had a happy fulfilled life.  If you die as an unbeliever, without giving yourself to God, and I am right, then ...what?

However, this is a forum about racing pigeons and not religion or science, and unfortunately it is probably one of the very worst places to be discussing these subjects.

phil, people are not wrong, simply because they have a different opinion to you........I think this religion talk has had its run now, people are always going to have a different opinion to the next man, so we must agree to disagree.

if religion makes you happy, then so be it.

I think we should stick to pigeon talk in future......this bickering is not good for the forum.

Our sport is of course the point of the Forum and if anyone is offended by bringing religion into it then I apologise, although I was not the first.

However, without our feathered friends there would be no sport and they did not come out of thin air.

Just a possibility to consider.

A man manufactures a car, he then turns a key and the engine starts and away we go.

How wonderful to think that God sat down and contemplated the earth and the planets around and then created a pair of our feathered friends and breathed life into them.
