how are members feeding their young birds, I started off feeding 1 and 1/4 oz per bird after weaning, but find im having to cut this down to get them to trap, ive not had any "refusals" yet, but feel its coming.... ive heard some sit and watch the ybs eating, then when maybe 4 or 5 go to the drinker, they take the un eaten food away.

any thoughts on this anyone ...?

All ages in young bird loft. Hour after feeding still food in there. When trapping the older ones that are flying out keep them short on rations. Normally, old and young never get short changed on feed. Cheap mix or expensive. They leave the same amount until they clean up. 1 oz or whatever. Never measured it out. With feed in them they go to the fields for grit/minerals whatever. They do not eat treated seed corn or soybeans. No need to.
