| Loved all types of fishing, coarse, fly and sea, the former has been ruined by having carp lakes which many fanciers actually know the names of every carp and can almost call them to the net. the sea has been almost depleted entirely of cod and flounders etc; you would have to cast 150 miles to have any success, fly fishing for the real enthusiast is great, you can go salmon fishing for £2 a day and almost guarantee a salmon or brown trout, however, there are lakes stocked with rainbows that have been hand reared just for commercial purposes, However, I prefer going fly fishing in the fast flowing back waters in the forest that very few go to, small brook trout, not to eat, but to try and out wit, that's what I call fly fishing.
However if your rainbows are the wildies and that size you must have some great fun.
How do you cook them?
Regards.

| Hi Misty. Lake is full of them. Cooking them? Butter, Lemon juice wrap in tinfoil. In the UK only trout I caught were Brook trout. Little fellows. |

Carn't beat going where no other man has stepped etc type of thing Misty to go fishing etc . My boy was big on the fishing trick, worked for a kiss lover type of bloke for years here by the name of Rex Hunt. He had a real problem in the kissing the fish thing I'm unfortunately . Lead thou to my boy paving the way on his own in the fishing field even up today as such. True story 2 blokes sitting on a bank one with a net full of fish the other one, sadly hoping & preying to get his first catch for the day before his boy releases his total catch to fight another day type of thing. Enough said & as I have said before most things are a mindset type of thing, as such . |

| HI, Knackered and Hal,
I had the same trouble with my son, I took him fishing from when he could walk, he was also involved with the pigeons almost from birth, unfortunately, he thought far more about fishing and is now fanatical about it, he is secretary of his club and is interested in all types of fishing but thinks very little about pigeons.
When I do have trout for a meal, I actually prefer putting them back, I cook them in foil with a shredded carrot inside and then flavour them when cooked.
Tight lines.
Regards. |
