PostSubject: How far ahead?   Fri Apr 27, 2018 2:06 am

8.45 here. pm. Wife is staying with daughter. Back tomorrow. 4 dogs do not talk much. So got to thinking about next year and racing. Stated many times, overstocked. This year is drastic cut down time. Have to do it the only sensible way. Race them all weekly. Or whatever is in shape. Many unraced yearlings. Old birds just consistent. Top racers over the years in the stock loft. Have about 56 to race combined. Natural. 40 plus young birds.
This year will pull down 24 x 8 foot loft. After racing. Leave me a stock loft, new one, plus a 12 x 6 footer. 6 x 8 will do for 12 pairs natural. Other 4 feet x 6 will do for young birds. 30? Plus big aviary. Choices will be almost self evident, what to have for next year. Unfortunately no second or third chances as in previous years. One hopes one makes the right choices. Not a cost factor. But will save me some. Family commitments etc,. Time to draw the line. Number in family? Wife not here so cannot ask. Assume with four of our own, their families, plus their kids families..Very many! Oh well.
