| If the pigeons could talk many fanciers would have a rude awakening.
Losses and poor flying times etc; have several possi9ble reasons, most well documented and many that it is impossible to solve and have to be contended with.
On the other hand I am sure the pigeon could explain that many of the so called methods and supplements etc; gives them little or no help/
Regards.

| With regards to our sport I looked on it in a different manner to most.
I wrote an article in the BHW called Huston We Have A problem etc;
I thought what I would find acceptable and preferable if I was a racing pigeon as opposed to what a FANCIER THINKS is best.
I pointed out that the majority of the methods that have been adopted would not to be my liking were I to be happy and do the tasks asked of me as a racing pigeon.
So I adopted all the possible things I thought would be the best in my opinion were I a racing pigeon.
I am sure all the pigeons I have had over the years would agree their life has been better than 99% of the fanatical win at any price mob, and that gives me as much pleasure as anything, working together as a team.
Regards. |

| Misty. Interesting! Trying that here. Pigeons cannot talk. One cannot read their thoughts. In my recent case I am thankful!! 1 am. Full moon. Dog barked. Get up get my boots on go out to the loft. Still with underwear. Could not see anything. Go in to the loft and put the lights on. All the pigeons looked at me. I can imagine their thoughts! "Skinny bugger needs viatamins. Supplements. Better feeding. Probably needs vaccinating. Certainly has to change his underwear!!" |
