lost 8 birds last sat. from Portland, just found out our fed released in bad visibility and did not clear, race controller for fed behind us couldn't believe it, I know its thankless job but a bit of honesty wouldn't go a miss, if they up front about it I got no problem but to say it was good lib. and it was complete opposite is just pi-- poor, not got loft full of winners and lost 3 birds that were all I had to pull for me Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

Lot of liberations video recorded now, easy on a half decent phone, then posted for all racing members to see. Good idea stops all the rumours, at least at the lib point.

Good example.

sorry to hear that rog its very disappointing when birds are thrown away like that after much care and attention at home to get them to the races

True Barnie Smile Smile simple thing these days for those with the smarts etc Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes & those that are lacking in that department, should either become better educated Wink Wink or just give the job away on the liberation front I suggest. cheers

I know that many will have a go at me for saying so but a pigeon in the best of health and with the ability to cover the distance asked which has been prepared for eventualities ideal regarding weather and not for unforeseen circumstances will not have the ability to contend with bad liberations.

If several can return then the conditions were not impossoble just very testing.

To lose your pigeons after you have given them all the care and attention is soul distroying but perhaps looking at the system fanciers who lose many pigeons use may help in the future.

Regards.

Listen to the average pigeon flyer I suggest after a bad race etc Misty & they are their own worst enemy as such at times Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes unfortunately. Listen to a good pigeon flyer & actually see first hand what happens in their lofts under the same conditions on race day & one can have a whole new perspective attached to the same scenario Smile Smile. cheers
