Hope it all works out well for you Mark etc Smile Smile. Nice type of distance I suggest Wink Wink to find the worker types in ones loft. Just had a phone call here Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes telling me our 2nd race has been put back to Sunday because of the rain & storm fronts with lighting attached on Saturday. Gone from a blow home "18 birds" to a header "32 birds" Smile Smile so will see how it all plays out come Sunday night Wink Wink. cheers

We basketed On Wednesday for a Friday race from Thurso with the London Combine 510 miles.
But I’ve been told tonight that the Transporter broke down, so they didn’t get away until 1230 so the race has been put back to Saturday, I hope the lorry was in the shade somewhere while it was being fixed, it was stifling today.

Saturday could go one of two ways, England could win and then I could go out and clock the Combine winner, or in reality the England team will come home before my pigeons. Smile

We were at Thurso with the London Combine.
There was only one bird home on the day in our club last night at 837.
I clocked my Tumley Hen this morning at 614.
The club Secretary sent 21 he hasn’t got any yet so it’s looking good.
She was 6th club 80th Essex Combine last year, she may be better this year fingers crossed.
Thank you Tumley Stud. cheers

Hope you win , boosey, always liked the North Road Thurso and Lerwick race points a far better test the latter than the continent.

At times some pigeons could be fling 300 miles over the water from Lerwick.

Regards.

there was only 9 birds home on the day in the London Combine.
Someone asked me to keep them updated on the local Frans Zwols pigeons.

The winner of th ESSEX Combine was a frans Zwols bred from formula 1 lofts I believe.
