Yes started yesterday ready for 2019 season . 2 ends already done , cresoted and sprayed when for the new cocks to go in . Just another 9 ends to do haha

I agree there is no time in the year when you can lay back and expect no problems.

With regard to the future, in both the BHW and the RP this week is the chance to become involved in improving and having a say in the sports future, by means of a questionnaire.

If fanciers do not become involved they will have no grounds to complain in the future if matters do not go their way.

did all my sections today cleared out and vaccumed fresh sand down ,not sprayed the loft for over 5 years now but do disinfect the drinkers weekly in the winter and twice weekly in race season and every other day for the ybs

Put plastic over some mesh sections. Foggy ad raining. Will not clean out until heavy part of moult is done.

Yep repairs etc. if any. Time to be honest with ones self regards past season. Plan for next year. .. but be prepared to change as times and the unforeseen will abound.
Most important thought at front of eyes being... If I did ok last season ok... but if not, then doing the same thing will only give you the same results.
