used to love the air rifles when i was young, all would be at the local beck/stream shooting the rats.....horrible things, actually still got a webley air rifle i had when i was 12 years old..... dont use it now but wouldnt part with it.
once had a go of an actual bullet rifle which fired approx 2 inch bullet, had a built in tripod which folded down for resting/supporting the barrel when aiming, plus a large scope......did expect a big kick when firing but hardly got any, needless to say i missed the target.........

yes thats them rene, no kick on them is there because no spring as far as i know just compressed air so like you say, very accurate.......would it be quite expensive to buy the oxygen tank ?

no not at moment, friend of mine was selling one a few months ago and i could have bought it but didnt........ at the time i had a handgun which took small compressed air cyliders into it, it was quite a powerfull little gun and i was told it was not legal to own or use because it was over the limit.....

brings back memories of when we were kids rene, putting another spring inside the main spring to give more power, and also putting a big peice of rubber behind the spring inside the airgun.....nowadays they sell alsorts of replacement springs to give more power dont they.

that rife ive got from when i was younger is a webley hawk, and it was bought with an interchangable barrel which meant it could be a 22 or a 177.....all you had to do is turn a lock on the side of the barrel and change them over, i thought it was best for say rats when i used the 177 barre/pellet combined with a 22 spring.
i think the best air rifle ive used was a weirach (?????) dont know how to spell it but im sur you know what i mean.....altho i found it to be quite heavy.
