Complete nightmare for those responsible for their welfare, have reservations about the whole aspect of one loft races with regards to numbers and the ability to give all an equal chance.

The weather has been pretty kind to us since my last update which really helps to get them flying now that they are all together next week will start shutting them out and teaching them to all come through the trapping area once they are all trapping well will put a loft list on early June..
The warmer weather looks to be coming back next week but the next few days looks a bit unsettled but we will battle on with them.
Will update again on Friday and then next week will do a video update.

Have they done a count and record of the pigeons presently in the loft?.
Would be interesting to see things from start to finish.
Impossible not to lose some for varying reasons just hope it's not the syndicates.
Regards.

Have nothing against 'One loft Races' etc. Feel that the fanciers will become more and more involved and in going down that road.
My bug bear at the moment is that I would wish to be involve - pigeon wise -and management. the preparing and its many aspects of involvement. Maybe later days...

I agree Daz, but when one cannot give the pigeons the life they deserve and be fully involved in all aspects to ensure that they are happy and contented, rather than ROBOTS, I feel it time to consider making a clean break and be thankful for the many years of pleasure they have given.
Never liked the idea of one loft racing but it can give a certain amount of involvement and pleasure to some who otherwise would not be able to be involved.

FRIDAY June 7th, 2019 Good afternoon
The birds have been on the trailer 4 times this week and had some short tosses which have gone pretty well.
I wanted to run the birds over the pads today for a loft list but its been a wash out with the weather so will post a loft list up Sunday evening.
We have to avoid clashing with race birds that have moved from Saturday to Sunday racing so will train again on Monday weather permitting.
