| AS I have said many times, in a race the only time a pigeons condition counts is at the time it leaves the pannier at the race point, nothing else matters.
The likely hood is that the best conditioned will suffer the most deterioration should there be any problems in , whilst those used to poor treatment would cope better.
So you have a dedicated fancier who trains his/her pigeons in ideal conditions and they all train well, but suffer during transportation in a race, which reflects in the performance.
Have suggested several times to have the pigeons condition assessed by a vet prior to liberation on several occasions to ascertain if they have in fact deteriorated in condition during transportation.
Regards. |

| Irrespective of water being available on a transporter ( for those able to get to it) many pigeons suffer from dehydration, I have seen many pigeons land near lakes whilst fishing, early morning, dropping from batches to attempt to get a drink, they could not have flown very far due to the time.
All showed signs of dehydration, which cannot be overcome with just a drink of water.
Position of the panniers on the transporter can affect some and not others.
Trouble is everything is just too much trouble, had the waste of money spent on the Raptor Alliance been spent on a vets advice and opinion regarding possible deterioration in a pigeons condition whilst travelling on the present transporters it would have been better spent.
Regards.

| The problem is, no one has started anything of merit to actually give up, lip service on occasions, actions, nil.

| Frustration is soul destroying and our sport is enough to drive anyone ?????, every year, and this will be no exception this year, moans and groans about exactly the same problems will be shouted from the roof tops but no one has bothered to address them in any manner.
Blame anything and everything other than the sport, the latter as a whole apparently satisfied to let the sport go to the dogs.
All the relative small problems encountered by fanciers get more publicity than those that threaten the sport's future.
If matters do not change there will be no sport worth bothering about.

| Nothing is like things used to be, Knackered, all the natural inclinations of children have been nullified by technology and commercialism.
Unfortunately, things will only get worse.
Could scream or cry at the manner mankind has abused and used that which is open to him.

| Following the antics of our MPs would be entertaining if they were involve in deciding what to have for dinner instead of the future of our country.
Where some of these Dim Wits come from I know not but am certain where they belong.
One after another spout (on television) comments set by their masters, the latter who would never be considered suitable as a MP.
Young women who should be at home looking after their children, others suffering women s' middle age problems, all apparently with addled brains, not to mention those who have difficulty in knowing what gender they are, would be hard to gather together a bigger load of miss representatives if the intention was to ruin democracy.
If the general public are not now aware of the idiots running our affairs they ask for all they get.
Regards.

| Jeremy would street walk in... hence why no coming election. Would be a refreshing and good change I guess.
I would like to know how come we can pay the E.U. £100 BILLION, plus over a £billion a month for an extension. Give £billion's to oversea countries, but close our Libraries. Can't finance clearing up 'Pott Holes'! Give a £billion or two to the NHS, The Police and fire services. and so very much more to building housing, to the genuine poor and needy and so very much more … Sorry I forgot, it's all to do with safe guarding their investments and money making schemes etc. etc. |

| I go back to what I said ages ago when this fiasco started.
What set of nit wits got us into a situation that takes so much getting out of.
As for spending money unwisely there is the situation where Councils are selling the communities assets with no one having a say in the matter.
The land is not used to solve the housing problems but for, in our area, for large detached houses often bought by the rich as holiday homes, when four times the number of affordable houses could have been built on the same site.
If the taxes derived from motorists stopped tomorrow it would be us needing aid from Africa.
I am not interested in politics as such because I have my own belief in what the ultimate outcome will be, but it may be a awake up call if Jeremy got in and took revenge on the money freaks presently pretending to represent the wishes of the majority in the full knowledge that they are outnumbered by the equaly detestable ones who show no pretence at ignoring those who pay their incomes etc;
Should be a interesting few weeks or months.
Regards.
