Well done Regrog. Blow home or not, it has to be won.

Often wonder about the snipe of 'Paper Bags' could have won that.
Maybe, maybe not … but only if they were in a direct line from liberation to loft. Not if blown a mite off course, that's for sure.
Lets not ever take away any merit the bird deserves.
the nationals do enough of that with their sections!

Did not fly last weekend. Weather on course excellent tail wind and sun. Here, being on the long end it was fog and rain all day. Winner was 1700 km hour. Not for me. Unless I cross them with fantails! Not usual weather.

Pigeons, being pigeons Hal Smile Smile we all I suggest do our own thing in our own way I suggest & be dammed what others may think about the issue bounce bounce as it all has little revelance on average I suspect/suggest Smile Smile. Most flyers here are well up the road on the training front as such with the first race in just over 2 weeks. Little fat block thou Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes lol! lol! lol! hasn't even put them in a training basket/unit yet bounce bounce & I have had one toss Wink Wink from around 12 miles here Smile Smile. cheers

Old birds here. Not trained this year at all. Have to get the ones that are wired different. There are a few here. Would love to fly the 500 in a few weeks. But a 55 mile to the club then back then to clock off. Not going for it. London club years back won an 8oo mile race. Two hours ahead. Miss those races. But have to be practical. Des Mathys. 200 miler Van Loon. Way ahead. Winning is good! But pleasure also comes from the birds themselves.
