| Doubt it mate … cheaper and nastier most likely lol maybe like me I tend to feel my age creeping up lol. |

| The imperial 3x2 slabs where heavier than the metric ones today, plus the imperial ones where 2" thick not 35mm thick like today's ones
So no the old style was much heavier than the ones used today

| A good pigeon fancier named Ernie did that job for the council straight after school and the war. He moved them around like playing cards - obviously got the use right. He says they get lighter and flimsier all the time after the mid 80's. A mate has a 'Reclaim' business. Old ones are sought after... not interested in the later ones. |
