as much as i would be happy to organise them, and post the pictures up ........i dont think it would be worth doing nowadays as i doubt there would be much interest .

I can see your point etc David . Bit sad in some ways I suggest as it was a bit of fun from my perspective. End of the day just another thing thou we can blame on Brexit, maybe .

yes knackered, brexit has played a part in it ......also corbyns anti-semitism didnt help

always enjoyed the shows, would be a shame not to hold them .

im all for the shows colin, just i dont think we will get enough members to enter now .......member input has been on the decline over the past couple of years, which reflected in the show entries last year, so to expect a good turn out this year will be a big ask .

Yes just keep it simple. Maybe have the normal categories but just one entry per member instead of 3.

i think the only way we will have any birds in ray, is if the members who do enter put 3 or 4 in, if it was one bird from 5 members entering that would give us 5 entries..........whereas if the same 5 members entered 4 each that would give us 20 entries

You could mix it up a bit and have what you think is the best type of pigeon and another for which pigeon you think has done the best racing. ( All the same pigeons).

my issue misty, is that i dont think enough will enter, which shows etc isnt the main problem as far as i can see.........its the fact that maybe 3 - 4 members will enter .

You know, with 29 members, and a sister club in same venue, Turn was pretty poor. We laid on food and what not too of course. then had a North Road V south road … some, like me flew in both clubs, and a few more. I felt for Stuart and the effort he puts in each year.
Wasc a time … before the silliness of early breeding granted, when fanciers were restricted as to how many they could enter due to the turn out.

Keep it the same then . We could have a bit fun and maybe put one photo of a bird each member fancies in his loft to do well this coming season .put a picture on with its ring number and see who can pick a winner or a tryer from their birds . Would be interesting

nice idea this ...to be fair the shows have declined support and can see davids point of view they were getting so drawn out so maybe the 1 show all birds in 4 birds each yearlings would be best as not so tried and tested as much and members can see which member/s have an eye for a bird ...probably more luck than judgement but hey it be a bit of fun eh

End of the day O/S & as you say a wee bit of fun for all I suspect & anything that may help keep the wheel here turning over must have a good/positive aspect about it some how I suggest.
