Foolish man I suggest, maybe. Sunscreen, sunscreen & more sunscreen is what you should have actually bought I suggest Barnie & none of that 10/20/30 grade type of thing of old but the 50 type model tube of today etc . Now also confused with your heading some what here not quite sure who I'm talking too as such I'm an old man. A boy a old man with thoughts of still being a boy or some who is totally confused what he is type of thing . Whichever/whatever I understand, as I was a beach tragic figure when young, couldn't run a yard but swam with sharks for the sheer enjoyment factor most days, as from my front gate to the water was 50 yards tops & my watching spot come race day was the blue stone beach wall 25 yards from my loft for a better view. My patch/back yard was 6 miles long, river to river & I knew every sand dune hang out spot, beach box & what went on behind them by sight & the remains left there at times.

Yes Knackered, bet a good tale or two to tell at the activities on your patch and not all pigeon related.

As for Blackpool think the Louise Cooremans pigeons will break the record for auction prices there.

i remember thinking at the time of the auction, that the buyer of the other bird might contact darren if the bird breeds well .......i noticed darren had put his phone number and details on the pedigree, so id expect a call if he does well breeding the bird .

True But, you being you Misty & me being me I will not tell the tales here of the sex & sin scenario I saw there amongst the sand dunes amongst my mates as a wee lad in a pigeon sense but be warned thou, it's a coming etc I'm if I ever get around to telling the 2nd scenario stage of my pigeon life here & it included, an icon of a flyer/figure by local standards, his closet buddy a mid life crisis moment one little hot red head bimbo type half his age who I saw in all her glory on one summer morning at around 4 am in the darkness of night & a cat which actually has a true story attached, like no other you would have seen/heard of or even witnessed as such I suspect .

already has a hen misty both our birds were hens but get what yer saying...maybe misty but no contact from him leaves me with no contact to him... he probably has more dosh than me anyway  ,besides i use all the surplus cocks to race as they all have to fly the yb programme up to 200 miles and whats left is well worth a go with as yearlings ,forum members would always come first in the freebie market anyway i did offer 4 hens a short while ago to the forum that had also flown the yb programme and they scored to but nobody wanted them ...atb

Should have a memory check regarding our One Loft entries.

Could have sworn they were cocks but it was a few months ago, and OLD AGE & POVERTY dulls the memory.

But personally irrespective of any other consideration I always helped friend or foe.

Bit worried here with your last comment etc Misty I'm . 2nd thoughts thou maybe it just explains why our sport is in such decline sadly, maybe. Now No love story, actually a creep of a man taking advantage of a young girl if truth be told, because his dick had a roaming type nature, nature for his close family as such unfortunately who I still know well, in fact I was talking to his ex just 2 days ago as she is just like a sister with my other half here & has been that way for 50 odd years. Now because of your ethos there & its not one of those stories one would preach from the pulpit as such the pussy meeting pussy scenario, which had a volcanic type ending for all, be left in history I suggest but I will say the man at the other end of the volcanic explosion has for many years now had a certain trait with his nature which is making regular, regular visits each year to Thailand, to just & only gain a suntan I'm told because we just don't have enough sun here in a local sense by those close to the coal face as such .

All things possible I've found in the pigeon world etc Misty when a volcanic type event occurs between friends/buddies of the highest order. Interesting part for  me & I've seen it often even outside my close zone as such. That the men fall out but their wife's strangely, still remain life time loyal friends for some strange unknown type reason .

Always thought our female partners have a better grip on life and how to live in harmony Knackered.

Found in our sport there are vastly different types, from the grass root to the millionaire types all with different agendas.

Not being a drinker, smoker or liker of those who have little grasp of the English language, although having some very good fanciers friends I rarely socialised with them outside the sport.


There were six of us close friends outside the sport, we never discussed money when helping each other, one needed help all the others offered what they could in respect of the problem., never money mentioned.

Sadly there are only 3 of us left, none in the best of health, but we have had a good run for our money.

Best times in our sport regarding friendship was in my teens, we had no money very few asperations but BY GUM we did have fun.

Oh how I agree etc & truth be told it all started going belly up I'm in a big way for a bunch of kid types just living the dream as such     when kids from out of our local area joined & we had to get clocks & distances for them to compete on a level playing field.
