| how very true barnie, there has always been "posh lofts" as such and of course a loft situated like the first pic would have advantage one would think ...anyway there will always be someone doing what you should be ,some lovely lofts all the same |

| Yes, very nice lofts many people would say.
I would be more interested in what the pigeons thought.
Regards. |

| tell you what i would think they would be very happy in the last loft as the ventilation looks spot on ...what a loft this one would be my pick but one can only dream of such ,fair play to the owner because if i could i would ,happy with our timber lofts though all the same |

| yes, some very nice posh lofts there..........did at one time think about building a brick / block loft, but decided against it as i thought it might be cold, i looked at my garage and thought, would this atmosphere be good for pigeons conditioning and decided against it, although i do accept those with brick / block lofts are perfectly happy with them, and have no problems at all ......just wasnt for me . |

| The last loft is Jim Biss I guess taken about 30 years ago, the middle one Jos Kempeneer about 40 years ago.
The other ones some time before then,
But even back in the day there was obviously a professional element, plenty of spare cash with hundreds of birds competing against the back yard fancier with a few pairs by comparison. No difference to the situation today really? |
