I have been married since 64 or so. April. All these years and still cannot remember the date!! Better I ask one of the kids, or grandkids... Had the date wrote down somewhere but cannot find it. Again!.

Will look it up. Have it some where. Onions were a great defence against the Spanish flu. They draw Viruses to them. Soo go black. Ditch it then. One should never save part onions. Even in the fridge they gather germs and viruses.
I used to always - as some know, have half onions hanging in the loft.
Would e a defence in the home in regards Coronavirus? Well worth a try I feel.

Bit like Colloidal silver I suggest maybe, a natural antibiotic etc & if you read the speel & believe it all it will just about kill every thing under the sun than causes harm as such . All that being said go buy a bottle in a shop here & it costs 30 odd dollars plus, make it yourself thou & you then can make it for pennies type of thing & then maybe just take 50 mls a day & then also the same for ones pigeons .

But I'd put the sliced onion on Tin Foil or such if using onions. Because this virus is spread by Touch. Just fold /wrap it and bin it. Yes fresh onions when first peeled are a boon... Just don't leave around. Even in the fridge it garners germs and virus.

Garlic is in the same family as onions but has far better properties regarding the immune system and the heart protection, that's why the Roman soldiers had to eat a clove a day.

Had it in the pigeons water every day, so the young were used to it from birth.

Never had any health problems.

But far better to buy all the bunkum available today.

Google Onions *virus etc. And you will find it says Attracts germs/ viruses etc. Also good to eat... But obviously not kept. Even in the Fridge.
