Yes a bit of new blood is most welcome but it would be nice to have some input and also a few details of the person concerned etc;

Age, hobbies, where based etc;

Gives a better idea where the person is coming from.

Does not matter if he/she agrees or disagrees with others, would be a funny old world if all thought the same.

But it is like joining a beer drinking club and being tee total.
