| Something was in overnight again. Must be very light footed. One animal it may be. Skunk. If so hope I do not trap it. |

| You certainly have a varied number of possible animal problems Hal, the like of which many here would be pleased to see, so long as they behaved themselves.
Raptors our main problem and can only increase, the idiots on television this week saying how well the raptor alliance were doing in introducing new species of that are now breeding well.
Country falling apart, yet round the clock security provided at nesting sights.
Where you could go and hear the dawn chorus all there is now is an erie silence.
The RSPB call this progress.
Regards.

| Remember in the UK using ferrets for rabbits. Then Myxamatosi came along. Always was out in the country side. There was many species to see. Used to gather seacoal off the beach. Toast on a fork in front of a seacoal fire, but life goes on. For better or worse. Just glad I am here and not back in the UK. Many raptors here. However never had the problems you folks have. Town folk suffer losses the most. Eagle Owls still around to balance things out. Nature looking after its own. |

| Tried introducing Eagle owls here Hal, would not let them said they were not a native bird.
As for ferrets, had one since school until going in the army, along with the pigeons and rabbiis (tame) etc; Used purse nets, had a pet ferret until fairly recently, not for rabbiting just a pet, when she died we decided we were too old to get another one.
Rabbit stew was rarely off the menue, I loved it.
Tried a bought one from butcher once, tasted nothing like when I was young, never bothered again.
Kids today have no idea what nature has to offer it is all verual reality now.
One would have thought with increased knowledge would come a better outlook on life.
Some hope.
Regards.
