| Looks great that mate. Bet he is, and quite rightly, real chuffed.
The world's your oyster now Oldstrain eh! Soon be doing it full time.
I have covered my walls in a quality vinyl - for floors. Most look like marble walls. No joins etc. etc. Will never have to touch it again. Could wipe the Grand kids ailments off lol. still like new.
Many ask if I would do such with their room - Mine now does the whole house, attic (Was a Bedroom, as well .Hall way landings and stairs. I have two sets of stairs.
Cost effective too.
Wife was looking at wall Paper at £28 a roll or more. Cheaper to vinyl cover and more practical, so I finished doing the rest of the house.
But getting a good fitter in to do it costs, that's for sure. |

| Not very good myself at wall papering either. I don't like in in the the least either. Worse now, than I once was ... and that wasn't too good.
Dad was a 'master painter and decorator'. back in days when that meant something. Brother in - law once asked him if he could do his brothers living room... very thick and heave Aniclister - excuse the spelling, about as good as my wall papering.
Said two firms had been in, and failed. Ordered the special glue etc. So he went round with Len, brother - in - law. Unwrapped the rolls and threw them in a water but. Refilled it with water and said. 'I'll be back Wednesday night. Derek was flabbergasted, and asked Len if he was made. Spouted the costs etc. Room was 27 foot long, and of course paper needed joining. Went on the Wednesdays' night. Taking some flour.
Up it went ... did it on own too, and at the weight. It stayed up.
That Derek and Len carry many tales between them. one day may relate some. |
