PostSubject: RPRA Hot Spot Races   RPRA Hot Spot Races EmptyTue Sep 01, 2020 10:03 am

ive noticed the pigeons seem to be slightly nervous when they land, they always mess about before eventually trapping ..........other years they have landed and trapped very quickly

the last two hot spots could have been won by a number of pigeons, as the first bird that landed wasnt the first bird that trapped i noticed

any thoughts ...?

Said from day one David, the landing board should be activated as the means of timing the pigeons.

The first bird landing on the loft should be the winner.

Could argue that one may could / would land on the roof but never seen it happen.

When I brought this up years ago some OL races were classing the first ten as the same monitary winners but still went from one to ten with the cards. (USA)

Think the timing in is not reflective of the actual result.

Regards.

Will agree with you Daz there might even be a rat or fox on the trap which the pigeons can see and that may be making them nervous??
