pigeon tonic

dose anyone use pigeon tonic and how often do u give it ......
also anyone give y/b hemp seed ... how much in food

Iron , for max ogygen transportation through the blood.
Vit C to assist the pigeon's body with Iron absorbsion

Im not sure about al these tonics..I think birds get Iron and minerals from corn, also we give them grit and minerals? like to know if some really bgood flyers use tonics or not

Spot on mate , you would not be sure about the tonics, if you didnt try it.
Trial and error I am happy i did try , and do it .

ive just given my birds johnsons pigeon tonic as it stated give for 3 days at first signs of the moult.i will give them it for one day per week until the moult ends.

have used johnsons tonic before and by all accounts its good stuff as its been around for many years and some fanciers swear by it.......when i ran out of it i bought some vitamins by versele laga (? spelling) which seems ok and also use the mollassis which i like too, twice a week i use cider vinegar in the water.
