yes rene, ive notice tho with the nehu rings the letters ie gf indicate where the bird is from for example nehu ss rings which ian and ray have are from south shields so maybe the gf stand for something.....?

doubt if the owner will want to pay 30 pond to hae it returned tho, and i certainly dont want to keep it so ill rest it and feed it up for a day or two then see if it will try for home......

hi kev, just judging by the birds ive reported.......seems the first thing they say is do you want it......? i mean why would i want their crap basically, i know good birds do get lost but the majority of lost birds are no good are they lets be honest......i think unless the bird is an exceptional racer they arnt going to want to pay 30 pound for it back.

i know where your coming from david i get fed up of getting fobbed off on the phone when i report them , i reported a nehu pigeon a couple of seasons ago how it got down here i never know it was way off line it turned out to be a fed topper for them but just made a mistake . when it came in with my yb you could tell just by looking at it , it was a cracker the next day it was going mad to get out so i ask them if i could let it out they said no we will send for it they were very keen to get it back they all so offerd to breed me a couple of yb but i never took up there offer .

hi kev, yes i suppose it happens like it did with you.........but as its a 09 bird i cant see that its got loads of 1st as its only had a yb season last year so ill feed it up and try it to see if it can get home......if it does come back ill most likely report it and hope they do want it back as like you say they are a pain in the arse when they want you to keep it...

the best thing to do is feed and water it david then let it up when its got its body back it will go back home ,if we all done this it would save us a lot of expense and we all know how expensive this sport of ours is...i do the same when i get GB,S in so you lot can return the favour lol.it does,nt take much doing to help each other out does it and its makes life a lot easier do you agree

hi ray, fed and watered for last couple of days and liberated this morning about half a mile from home........................back in my corn shed now. think ill feed up again and try during next week then liberate further from home and hope it doesnt come back to me and tries for its home loft......failing that ill have to report and hope they want it back as there is no way i want to keep it.....ive enough crap of my own to get rid of.
