| UPDATE 02/08/2021 August 2nd, 2021 Good evening
They cleared well in training today.
Tomorrow we will move to the 16 mile point weather permitting and if that goes well then 20 miles Wednesday.
Anything after 12 noon today won’t go training tomorrow.

| Think many times the reason being that many fanciers don't realise a Pigeon - of any age - needs to be mentally fit first. Physically becomes soon after, till they are as one. fitting fit. Too many may say 'Others do it, done it, so should they. Having no thought of teir state of mind ... or love of loft at that moment. J.M.O. |

Agree Daz One loft races thou I suspect, have little time for the occupants there to play the bonding game & also maybe have some one get inside their head so to speak. Dog eat dog scenario there in certain ways from my perspective here I'm & that's why most of them by the end of racing each year on average have horrendous type losses by my way of thinking down here. & take care. |

| Believe Knackered, their first and main concern isn't the welfare of the pigeons ... do what must syndrone, or the fanciers interests. The interest of the fancier is second to, and mainly to make money! |

| Where there's money... there's crooks, fiddles and swindling. Plus folks, good hearted and genuine folks, being took to the clearners. Then some genuine members put up and eventually get elected.
Sadly then, they are either squeezed out and give up ... or jump on the 'Band Wagon'. True! |

| Been the same for over 50 years, the clique have ruled the roost.
They even had a vote of no confidence against several Council members who wanted to investigate the whole system, the only ones who could have such a vote is the membership who voted then in, but they got away with it etc;etc;etc.
As for the OL run by our dubious lot, the facts speak for themselves.
Think flock treatment has a lot to do with it, and jumping them five miles as a first toss is expecting too much.
Just hope our two still make it.
Think we would be better buying a share in a nag.
Regards. |

Looking at things all round oldstrain we are doing better than most. If we end up with one or two in the final it will be a real achievement. Keeps us on our toes. Yes and our nag cost us nowt but worry. Regards. |

| Who's job is it to motivate these birds - especially from 18 miles or such? |
