- racing has finished for 2021 hasnt it misty, too late to race now i would think ........is this coincidence this news has come too late ......
Yes David left it a bit late me thinks. Maybe we stop racing too soon and start too early. Our native birds fly further in winter for food etc; than in the summer. Do not think any considerstion has been given to perhaps changing the racing season since I was a kid. Best possible feather condition in nature is in the Autumn ready for Winter. Have known on the odd occasions reading of races being held in the Winter. Hope they do sort it out many fanciers enjoy channel racing above all others. Regards. |

| a long way to go yet before channel racing starts in 2022 ,fish wars with the french...immigrant chaos with the french to ,and of course brexit animosity so i would not be counting on it just yet ,i hope so though for those that enjoy channel racing but theres nothing wrong with scotland for a stern test eh as we have found out with the one loft and organisations turning north this year have found out to ,so no panic just race north eh if it all goes pear shaped if you like water theres always lerwick and fraserburgh |

| Yes oldstrain, there is always Flying North, that is if the demented one wanting to break up the Union does not ban us from racing from there.
There is no doubt it is a harder route than flying South.
Lerwick one of the hardest race points.
