have they all got pedigrees

no george, i bought them as young birds off steve whitney , and he was going to sort the pedigrees out for me, he delivered 12 pairs of them to leeds for me.

then as you know steve sadly got stabbed and died shortly after, his brother kevin once contacted me to say if i gave him the ring numbers he may be able to help as he had steves records etc, but it never bothered me, i knew where they had come from and how well steve had raced the van reets.

as it happens it doesnt seem to bother anyone buying them, that pedigrees dont come with the birds.

yes remember that very sad

i give a chap 10 even at few pounds it would pay the corn bill i have given 18 away this year

More times than not David just easier to wait till the end of the race season maybe. In general less birds less pedigree paper work on average type of thing     if required. End of the story, don't knock the cheapy's I say if looking for something maybe different for an interest     as that little plumber mate of mine down here     who I fondly call the little fat bloke     just won the biggest Fed race in his fed's calendar season here yesterday from 300 odd miles into a dead set type head wind after an earlier 3rd fed position, with one similar like with your youngsters David which you like to sell online at times for others to race as such.   .

the fanciers who won yesterdays race are in the mexican drug cartel photo iposted last week, the dad in the blue check coat and his son , the big fella in the grey top .........

ive done a quick calculation of the highest prize winners going on the points system, it may be right or wrong i dont know .......but chances are im not far out and the member in the lead with 55 points is our forum member chuda, closely followed by mr and mrs llewellyn with 54 points, in 3rd is our secretary and husband mr and mrs reed with 52 points .....i think there is one or maybe two yb races left, so it will be all down to these races to decide a highest prize winner for 2022 .

a close call this year for top honors......

Good luck whoever wins there etc David Enjoy the moment I say. But the following is a true story of recent times here. Local O/L/R final, 360 odd miles Champion Fed flyer A, started with 35 birds. Champion Fed flyer B, started with 15 birds. In the end B had 3 home & A had 2/3 & then there was Mr Nobody who flies in a club who don't believe in averages there for their own reasons as the wholly grail of being important come race day apparently. He started with 5 there at the start out of the 1700 odd birds & he actually finished up in the end with 2 in the first twenty home in the final race after an all day fly into a head type wind & rain & somehow made the so called champions by local standards here I'm   look very 2nd rate in my view, even if they are classed as champions somehow by better men than me here    .
