good luck Ray think ybs need racing had ybs at a loft 3 x 10 ml training toss straight into a national race think it's a big ask

Same here, no chance with these raggy youngins, no neck and head feathers or tails now, 2 or 3 flights to go. just planning on how to darken the YB end as we speak actually

The moult is affected by many matters.

Weather, feeding, housing,health and excersize to mention a few.

Flying natural you can have pigeons ready to perform to their best if common sense is used in breeding at the right time and the health is sound, with both young and old the whole season.

Biggest problem with most bad performers is health, and not always the fanciers fault but the abuse our feathered friends have suffered by the commercial boys.


Doubt very much if anyone using Widowhood and the Darknes systems do not have health problems without constant treatment being necessary.

have 2 lofts David 10 hens 10ft x 6 ft it has a ridge roof which i may change it as don't like this type of roof will also put corridor back making it 7 x 6 for the birds
