Just a disaster of a race . Birds up friday and we took a hiding. Down to about 8 missing. One reported in liverpool, way off course, one hawked and unfortunately its leg was broken, probably trying to get away . It was in a horrible way we we had to do the decent thing. He was a cracking cock as well . Birds where absolutely knackered. Far to many up together and up with the back men ,so went over the top. Pathetic decision

Sorry to hear of your sorry/sad outcome there etc Ray. Different type beast though required I suggest when the boundaries maybe become somewhat larger as such on race day & the bird numbers increase there, somewhat    .

bryan & son who won this weeks race from bovingdon had a bird reported in liverpool at 1.30, after been liberated at 9.30 .....
