2022 RPRA Final

GRAND FINAL RACE NEWS.

Good Afternoon

The RPRA One Loft Grand Final Race Will Be Held From Sennen Cove 2022.

The race point is just a few hundred yards short of 200 miles but it will be even more of a challenge from the location of the race point itself.

The final race will take place on Sunday the 25th of September WEATHER PERMITTING , if the weather is not suitable on the appointed day then it will be the first day that the weather is suitable.

All will be welcome to join us at the lofts for the final race but we will need to know numbers for the barbecue etc.

Please text me your name and how many to 07739148679.

Everything fit to go will be trained this coming Tuesday and Wednesday weather permitting then loft flown there after and marked on Saturday afternoon.

Another 5 birds worked in yesterday from previous races but everything will be run over the pads on Tuesday after training so we can see what’s here.

Interesting David for the life of me thou a disaster in the making again perhaps  somehow I suspect sadly. When simply compared to the previous race points there etc & especially now  with what appears to be a head type breeze apparently on the day     End of the day     should be a bit of fun     especially with about 40/50 odd bod late comer types there going maybe that missed the last hot spot race as such.

few years back when i enter there were only 2 birds on the day from the final

good luck with that ,its going to be a disaster sennen cove is full of raptors ...the whole coastline is ...birds end up in ireland from this racepoint

Gets more crazier by the minute etc O/S I'm   if that's what could maybe happen there come race day If I was putting my hard earned money down next year there I think I would like to know the actual line of flight maybe & the race points, considering what has gone on this year there as a general example.

Why not join in the fun of the fair and all have a dab at how many get back in race time.

always been a difficult racepoint but why wait until the last race to present any sort of test no good to the birds is it

No that's when most of what's actually going to get home hopefully George will get home there type of thing I suggest End of the day     & remember I know nothing etc       but anything that cracks a 1000 yds per minute today will be blessed with good fortune somehow, I suspect    .

Reasonable type of assessment I suggest Misty sadly. My way of thinking is the first 199 miles is a walk in a park type scenario but the last point 15 of a mile there, will be the real killer moment I'm    .

297 birds sent to the final, out of 1,500 entered.......a few hot spot races and countless short trainers later.

Your expectations David may just be set somehow a wee bit high I'm all things considered. We are are we not talking about, your RPRA management style on display to the general world etc .
