Most of these birds are off their best birds so should be decent. We sent birds from what we thought our best as if not what's the point in entering

why do some birds do well and not others, are some birds more suited to one loft racing, or is one loft racing mainly just the luck of the draw ...?

any thoughts ?

Pigeons like all other animals etc; have members within the breed capable of contending with different problems as they arise.

A problem arises and those capable of overcoming it survive and breed until their
offspring recover to the previous original state of the species.

Pigeons no different, good, bad and indifferent and if it is not there you cannot put it there.

Of course the treatment of those concerned plays a major part to what extent the ability of a species can be utilised.

Regards.
