Brilliant type day here again gutters now filled with Autumn leaves etc so a warning of sorts I suspect maybe. Now in 1958 here I actually made a phone call etc in a pigeon type sense & it cost me back then 25 Pound as such. Shortly about to make another similar type phone call here to a very local, local, local & its going to cost me a hell of a lot more now somehow I suspect I'm to do what I did back when, with my very treasured, loved 25 Pound special as such    .

it's very cold here and has been all day

not been a bad day here, managed to cut grass at the front and back of the house, will need to order a skip for rubble and squirrel nest from having work done on the house roof, that aint going to be cheap ...

dry but cold need grass cutting waiting till it gets warmer

did mine yesterday george, used the hand push mower, saves time and easy if the grass isnt long......

5c here, dry and fairly bright, not a bad day so far .

still the same here, but up to 7c now ...bright and dry thats the main thing .

9c cloudy and raining ......miserable day .

dull but lot milder

brightened up here now, best part of the day ....12c

Hope you have a good race, weather supposed to be better.

At least there is some racing that looked doubtful at one time, but you are up against some fancier I would not like to compete against.

You deserve good results for the effort you put in.

Funny thing about hold overs, the only time an old fancier, now in the loft in the skv won was when the birds were held over a few days.

Cannot see a pigeon in top condition when going on the transporter keeping it's condition for several days.

Whilst one fed on rubbish at home may lap up some decent feed for a few days.

Never liked holdovers myself.
