| Never actually been to this show, but as I understand it there are no actual pigeons show classes so how can it be a Pigeon Show in the pigeon sense of a pigeon show ?.
But never heard any adverse comments regarding what is on offer including accomodation available for stop overs.
Just hope all who attend enjoy it time there was something to cheers matter up.
Regards. |

| Best show by far, although not an actual show of classes of pigeons, I suppose more a case of stallholders "showing" what they got to sell. It's a good venue pretty much everything on one level, you can get a bite to eat and there's several bars but prices reflect a captive attendance. I suppose Asda is just a short walk away if you want to save a few ££. Auction prices vary dramatically depending on vendor and hype, You'll see pigeons struggle to make £35 yet others with a well prepared pedigree will make thousands££ You can get absolutely everything you could possibly need for the season including a new loft, even a fancy coat and cap to wear books, dvd's and enough medicines to open your own pharmacy But it is a good day out at a usually gloomy time of the year. We always travel by train, stay over for the weekend, sadly the hotels have cottoned on to the extra trade and prices have more than doubled for the show weekend, week later they are half the price; greed once again. Got the train booked but struggling to find reasonably priced accommodation this year. |

| bit the bullet and got booked, usual hotel we use was double the price but alternatives were even more. Cost of living continues to increase in all areas, the greedy get greedier and this government helps them, time for a general election, never had much faith in this lot, got none at all right now. |

| Glad you got sorted barnie and have a good time.
If you fancy a stroll one night go down to the wood at the bottom of the race course and see if the nightingale I used to listen to on a night is still around.

they have run the country for the last 13 years and destroyed it. What has ruined the country David is apathy and the I'm Alright Jacks the same as our sport Those with a cosy life and those with more money than sense have allowed a few idiots to persue agendas that are totaly idiotic, nothing is now abnormal in their eyes, free speach is only for them toe the line of the idiots or you are blackballed. What we need is someone with backbone to do away with all the Gay and similar issues and state what they are, abnomalities, yes accept that they should be accepted in the communnity and have equal rights etc; but not pretend that they are normal the same for a man wanting to be a woman it is abnormal. Our whole electoral system stinks. I have never had the chance to vote for who I think would be the best MP in my constituency, and that goes for 99% of the population, you have a choice of those picked for you. Most are dummies or those with wealth who want to further their own ambitions and further line their pockets and buy or corrupt to get there. Have no idea how the present PM got their but strange. Afraid we have reached the stage of no return. The alterative to the present lot running the country is more frightening than a nuclear war and there's a thought. ROLL ON. Regards. |

| i came to the conclusion years ago misty, that voting doesnt do anything, voting is a charade where the public believe they are choosing a political party to run the country .......in reality the vote is a lie and means nothing, the people do not choose anything .
if it actually made a difference, voting would be banned ...... |
