Car Insurance ....

insurance due 5th december just got my renewal quote ........ has gone up £250 since last year, phoned them up and they took £45 off, told them i wont be renewing with them ....... so on the hunt for somewhere else

Think you used the same one as me David, mine starts in June and the last time it
was just above previous year but they are all putting the prices up.

I get it through Age Concern which may help, but as you are loaded as Knackered thinks and not very old, think they use you wealthy ones to subsidise us poor souls.

age concern has moved the LV misty, ive heard others peoples have gone up considerably too, sometimes double ......

i think its all part of the plan of getting rid of diesel and petrol cars, put the prices up .........

Just had a look David £584.84,pay by direct monthly just in case I want to cancel
would save mucking around cancelling.

Cannot remember what it was previous year.

So I have utter faith David it all be in line with inflation there somehow type thing  End of the day its a share holder thing I suspect & a rort & your government of the day there is quite happy to play ball as such I suggest.

No sense complaining Misty I suggest you chose Scarborough type thing I'm   by the sea     & not Leeds etc .

i wish mine was £584.84 ........ i wouldnt complain .

i thought that insurance was expensive when you were young, and cheaper as you got older, now they say insurance is more expensive because your older .....

we cant win

Friend from the garage came and removed the wheel with the damaged tyre took it and had new tyre fitted, came this morning at 7.am and refitted the wheel, took car back to garage to check it over and returned it at 8.am said nothing more wrong with it.

Was diabolical weather.

Good to have friends.

Total charge £178.62.

AA wanted £300 just to take it to garage as it was not classed as a breakdown.

Been member of AA for over 35 years and prior to that covered by company policy with the AA.

Delighted with friend AA ??????.
