looks like one of the earlier lost birds "65" made it back home, but looks like it was sent with the trainers on the 4th and was obviously not ready and never came back today,,,, Shame as we dont know when it returned and probably needed a good week or so back in the loft before being thrown back in the basket

Shame as we dont know when it returned and probably needed a good week or so back in the loft before being thrown back in the basket very true mark totally agree with the comments you have made...........seems such a shame when the bird has struggled back to be maybe just thrown straight back in, not saying this has definately happened but with the limited info we are getting it seems this could be the case. |

seems a shame mark, with all the birds in the loft they arnt going to be nurse maiding them are they.......at the end of the day the birds are there to race and if they get lost then so be it is their policy by the sounds of it. as you yourslf have said tho mark, sometimes good birds do get lost.......they are not all rubbish hope we get something back tho and still in the comp

that,s what happens when there is 100s of birds to look after it,s ni inpossible to keep track of every bird whats late back any thing can happen to them and usally does thats why doing this on a smaller scale you will get more enjoyment out of it in stead of them just taking your money , on a smaller scale you can detect if the birds are a bit of colour if so it stays to fight another day and not just thrown away .

Thats a very valid comment david, In fact I have experienced it every year of racing...I always get my youngbirds back from wherever they go in training or early races even if I have to pay and send for them. So many times a bird you get back turns out to be a good one and never makes too many mistakes after. Its happened this year and it happened last, I have heared it said some brilliant breeders were not so good racers.
