    i am going to build a new shed out of 8 x 4 sheets of ply, would you recomend painting it or staining it or do i felt it all over ????

    could stain it which would look nice, but also if it was felted over you would be sure it was waterproof more or less.........even lofts which are regularly treated let a small amount of moisture/wet in in the bad weather so im told..........

    weather you paint or stain it as long as it is done thouroughly it should be ok, its just what you prefer really which you think looks nice.... Very Happy

    still un decided on how to build it, i know its going to be 10 foot at the front going to 8 foot at the sides being a pent shape , the dilemer is do i have the front hight the size of the board 8 foot down to 7 at the back or do i cut them down to 7 foot at the front and 6 foot at the back,

    would recommend covering the sides and back with hardboard , soak the hardboard before you fit it then screw 2x1 over the joints and centre to hold it back when it dry,s it will pull tight back it will put years on your loft beleive me

    10 ft is tall at the front chris, is there any reason for this ...../?
