yes, all my cocks are 2010 birds with very little experrience in racing.........they have had plenty of 35 mile trainers but only two 56 mile newarks so not verygood.......

im in the same boat david mine only had 1 race at 76 miles dont know how its going to go

ah thats a shame you should of got as many races as you could as yearlings cocks dont think with their brains

this is why im racing the first 4 or so on the natural darren, ive been advised inexperienced birds such as these will get crazy and get lost, so its best to give some experience in the first few races and then see how they are going......

can always put on widowhood if coming alright.

by what ive heard/read, this is what widowers do when in good condition isnt it...? also when exercising the are flying off the loft and landing all the time and chasing anything they see in the sky.......???

yes they bounce from loft to loft, up round the loft back down all the time. very hyper fantastic to watch

so when you first let them out for exercise do they fly in a pack for a certain length of time first, before up and down from the loft ...?

different times could be 10 minutes or they might fly off for hours. They did that to me once when mark was working i was getting really worried thought i had lost them and he would go mental at me, but later on they came back - little things

ah right, so its not a matter of them exercising every day for a set time...?

i have 6 pairs ready now david but cant use the breeding section allocated for them as some spare cocks are in there waiting to be picked up

ive had to swap some hens around because they were pairing up.........
